Yes. Argus is AGPL-3.0 licensed. All 200 security checks, all 4 compliance frameworks, and the interactive dashboard are included free forever. No feature gating, no usage limits. The AGPL ensures the core engine stays open source — anyone who modifies and runs it as a network service must share their changes.
How do I try Argus Cloud before paying?
Every new account gets one free full audit scan — no credit card required. You can connect your Google Workspace, run the scan, browse all 200 findings, try the AI Analyst, and explore the hosted dashboard. Subscribe to keep running scans on a schedule.
How many Google Workspaces does one subscription cover?
One Argus Cloud subscription covers up to 3 Google Workspace tenants. If you need to audit more workspaces (e.g. MSPs managing many client tenants), email us at contact@argussec.io for enterprise pricing.
Can I self-host the dashboard?
Yes. The Dash dashboard is included in the open-source package and can be run locally or on your own infrastructure. Argus Cloud provides a hosted version with additional features like trend tracking and compliance history.
What Google Workspace editions are supported?
All editions —Business Starter, Business Standard, Business Plus, Enterprise Standard, Enterprise Plus, Education, and Essentials. Some checks require Enterprise features and will be flagged accordingly in the report.
How does the AI Analyst work?
The AI Analyst is a tool-calling agent that queries your audit data to answer questions, explain findings, and suggest remediation steps. In the open-source version, you provide your own API key (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.). Argus Cloud includes the AI Analyst at no extra cost —no API key needed.
Can I run Argus in CI/CD?
Yes. Argus ships as a Docker image and includes a ready-made GitHub Actions workflow. You can integrate it into any CI/CD pipeline to run scheduled audits or trigger scans on demand.
